Scottish FWAG is a professional association whose purpose is to promote the provision of high quality conservation advice.

Our activities include:

  • Providing a point of contact between members and potential clients
  • Allowing members to collectively engage with other groups, organisations and Government
  • Encouraging the professional development of members
  • Providing a platform for discussion and knowledge sharing

Membership of the Association is open to independent farm and land management conservation advisers based in Scotland with businesses of 3 employees or less. Delivery of farm and land management conservation advice is the core business of all members.

All Scottish FWAG members are accredited to a high standard through membership of the Chartered Institute of Ecologists and Environmental Managers (CIEEM) or the Institute of Agricultural Engineers (IAgrE). Scottish FWAG members are expected to have, or be working towards, Chartered Environmentalist status.

We currently have 15 individual members covering all of Scotland, including the Northern Isles.
